We are looking for a Solution Lead who has hands‑on experience in architecting and implementing Vertex AI Search for Commerce or equivalent search solutions, is certified in out‑of‑the‑box contextual/commerce search solutions and can provides solutioning guidance across data, search, analytics, and AI‑enabled initiatives. The role focuses on understanding end‑to‑end solution flows, applying strong platform knowledge, and helping teams make sound technical decisions across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
To architect and implement AI enabled onsite product Search solutions like Vertex AI Search of Commerce (VAIS:C) or similar.
Understand and guide end‑to‑end solution flows across data capture, processing, analytics, and activation
Connect business objectives to feasible solution approaches using platform capabilities
Provide hands‑on solution guidance when teams face design or implementation challenges
Review solution approaches to identify gaps, risks, or improvement opportunities
Ensure solutions align with platform standards and best practices
Support consistency and reuse of solution patterns across initiatives
Communicate solution flows, dependencies, and trade‑offs clearly to stakeholders
Technical & Platform Skills
Hands‑on experience architecting and implementing Vertex AI Search for Commerce, or equivalent enterprise‑grade solutions (Major plus, but additional training can be provided)
Certified and experienced with out‑of‑the‑box contextual/commerce search solutions
Strong understanding of how data, search, analytics, and AI components work together
Working knowledge of cloud data and analytics platforms (e.g., GCP, BigQuery, data pipelines)
Understanding of search and clickstream systems (e.g., relevance, behavioral events, funnels, experimentation)
Familiarity with AI/ML platforms (e.g., Vertex AI) to support data‑driven use cases
Comfortable reviewing designs and solution approaches without owning detailed architecture
Professional Skills
Solution‑oriented mindset with strong technical judgment
Ability to operate across multiple initiatives in parallel
Clear communicator across business, product, analytics, and engineering teams
Adaptable to evolving requirements and project contexts
Instructions
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management or related field
8–12+ years of experience in solution leadership, technical lead, or platform‑focused roles
Experience supporting large‑scale, data‑driven or digital initiatives

Risks and constraints are surfaced early
Solution patterns are reusable and scalable across projects
