Salesforce Technical Lead/ Salesforce Architect
Location: 10 Hudson Yards, 347 10th Ave, New York, NY (Hybrid )
Job Type: Contract
As the Salesforce Technical Lead you will be the technical anchor for our Salesforce Sales Cloud architecture, ensuring seamless integration with the broader client API landscape. You will collaborate closely with developers, external consultants, and internal stakeholders to optimize system performance, enhance user experience, and drive best practices in Salesforce development. This role requires a deep understanding of APIs, Apex, LWC/LWR, and metadata-driven development, as well as the ability to bridge technical and business needs.
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Oversee and optimize the Salesforce Sales Cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with clients broader technical ecosystem.
Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions for API integrations (REST, GraphQL) using Apigee, Postman, Named Credentials, and Apex Classes.
Map external data to Salesforce fields and logic, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.
Leverage metadata to build and optimize API calls, utilities, and custom logic.
Development & Collaboration
Partner with developers during sprints, providing guidance on user stories, code reviews, and logic optimization for both front-end (LWC/LWR) and back-end processes.
Act as the bridge between external consultants and client, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring alignment with internal Salesforce environments.
Identify risks and bottlenecks, proactively recommending solutions and resource allocation to the OmniSales O+O Salesforce Lead.
Performance & Innovation
Monitor and enhance system performance, user experience, and scalability.
Stay ahead of Salesforce trends, evaluating new features/tools to drive innovation.
Document technical designs, best practices, and integration workflows for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Technical Lead/Architect, with a focus on Sales Cloud.
Expertise in:
Apex, LWC, LWR, REST/GraphQL APIs, Apigee, Postman, Named Credentials
Metadata-driven development and external data mapping
Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems
Proven ability to mentor developers, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-starter mindset with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions in fast-paced environments.
Nice-to-Have
Experience in consumer goods/retail or large-scale enterprise environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Salesforce.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., System Architect, Application Architect, or Technical Architect).
